Ekospol sees profit rise

Developer Ekospol's gross profit for the financial year 2009 will increase to about Kč 224 million, CEO Evžen Korec said on the basis of revised data. According to preliminary data for 2009, Ekospol also raised sales to Kč 650 million from the previous Kč 612 million. In November it estimated 2009's gross profit at Kč 200 million and sales at Kč 700 million. In the previous financial year starting on April 1, 2008 and ending on March 31, 2009, the firm's gross profit fell by more than 80 percent to Kč 30.7 million.
